Go to an Outdoor Event
I am very fortunate to live near many pick your own orchards that have a variety of events throughout the Summer. In the Summer I also like to see what local free outdoor concerts and events are happening near me. I like to view different park’s event pages as well as local town’s social media accounts.
Volunteer
This is on my bucket list for the Summer. I would love to volunteer somewhere outside, since it’s Summer. However, I would be happy to volunteer where needed. Click here to view volunteer opportunities near you!
Take a (new) Hike
Exploring and creating new memories is what keeps things exciting. Try out a new hiking trail or a new outdoor space.
Have a Bonfire
Late night S’mores around a campfire while listening to music is the perfect way to end a Summer night. Actually, if I could have a bonfire most nights I would. However, Summer and Fall feel like the best time to have a bonfire.
Learn Constellations
This is another one on my bucket list for the Summer! I only know a Orion’s Belt but I am planning on learning more constellations. Imagine staring at the stars at the bonfire on a Summer night with an over sized hoodie. I can’t think of anything more perfect and cozy for this Summer. Click here for an in time constellation site.
Have a Picnic
Barbecues and picnics are an absolute must for the Summer. I am currently an apartment girly and do not have a backyard for hosting, but just know I will be planning park picnics this Summer. Checkered blanket included.

This was my absolute favorite Summer outfit about 2 years ago. I had thrifted the floral skirt and was really stepping out of my comfort zone wearing bright colors. However, this feels like Summer to me. It felt right. Treat yourself to a new fun graphic tee, gingham shorts, a floral sundress.
